In addition to restaurants, a fitness studio, rooftop pool, in-house cinema and a spacious spa area, the hotel offers 65 rooms in various sizes, 20 flats and four lofts. In addition to Berlin and Great Britain, there are other houses in the USA, Toronto, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Istanbul and Mumbai. The SOHO HOUSE includes the concept store THE STORE X. THE STORE X is a platform for ideas and culture. The range includes fashion, art, design and also attracts a global community of creative people to 180 The Strand in London, Soho House Berlin and Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. The role...

You will support the People & Development Manager in all areas of responsibility in the position of "People Partner". Through daily personal interaction with our employees, you will play a key role in creating positive employee experiences - from the application process through the entire duration of employment. As a successful People Partner, you create trust and credibility by balancing the needs of the business with the needs of the employees.

Main Duties…

  • Recruitment; posting positions on various job boards, review of CVs and selection for interviews, set up of interviews for hiring manager
  • Support in all administrative tasks such as registration of new employees in the payroll and HR system, preparatory payroll accounting, disciplinary proceedings, processing of departures
  • Contact person for managers in the recruitment process, training of new employees
  • Cooperation with external service providers in the areas of occupational safety, data protection, health care
  • Supporting the implementation, monitoring, compliance and enforcement of all corporate policies, procedures and standards as well as local laws
  • Processing of employee applications (visa applications, employment certificates, communication with health insurance companies, etc.)
  • Maintenance of employee data in the payroll and rota database
  • Planning and organization of employee events and training, creation of posters
  • Maintenance of the internal communication platform 'Workplace by Facebook
  • Support of ad-hoc projects assigned by the People & Development Manager

Requirements / Qualifications...

  • At least 3 years of experience in human resources
  • At least 3 years of experience in hospitality
  • Solid knowledge of local labor law
  • Fluent in spoken and written German & English
