We are looking for "Chief Engineer" with the qualifications below;

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as Chief Engineer or Director of Engineering within luxury hotels
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in energy management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of major building systems, power plant, air conditioning system, kitchens etc.
  • Engineering studies such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Building Services.
  • Quality driven with a passion for excellence in guest/member service and satisfaction

Job Description: 

  • To ensure and control the functional control and maintenance activities related to maintenance, repair and all operations, and to keep records.
  • To ensure the functionality of the electrical, mechanical, construction, automation and building maintenance teams that make up the Technical Services and to control their work.
  • Working in coordination with other departments to carry out facility management.
  • To closely follow the work disciplines of the technical service employees who carry out the maintenance, repair and operation activities of the hotel for which he is responsible, and other organizations from which service is received under contract, and to ensure effective and uninterrupted operation continuity.
  • Playing an active role in making technical maintenance plans and working effectively to meet the needs of technical services.
  • To ensure that the technical services offered by subcontractor companies are carried out in line with the standards specified in the agreements, and to make recommendations on terminating the work carried out with companies that are determined not to provide appropriate service.
  • Plan revisions for technical services in departments, layout changes, architectural improvements, etc. To follow the business processes by working in coordination with other departments to ensure that the work is completed in line with the standards.
  • Making final acceptance of technical projects, checking compliance with contracts and ensuring the delivery of relevant plans and projects to the departments.
  • To determine the optimum stock levels of tools, equipment, equipment consumables and wear parts required for the uninterrupted and effective continuation of operations of the business for which he is responsible, and to monitor their stocks.
  • Detailed reporting of operation, maintenance and repair activities to General Manager / Ass. General Manager and planning for future periods by evaluating the data collected at the end of the period.
  • Preparing the operation maintenance budget and planning appropriate intra-year activities.
