Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To possess accurate and detailed information about the Hotel such as room and bed types, differences between the rooms in terms of size and view, dates and times of operations of outlets.
- Develop key relationships that promote Soho House and its concept, whilst achieving the highest member and guest satisfaction.
- General highest level of commercial revenue, including events and rooms sales.
- Build, establish and personally manage relationships with on-brand people, including event producers, studio executives, music label executives, Soho House members, and other key players in the creative industries.
- Establish relationships with key new clients across different creative industry sectors, primarily through analysis of the company member database and team contacts/ relationships. Make initial approaches to such new clients. Attend events and group hotel stays to reinforce client service relationships.
- Approach on-brand people through meeting, networking and pitches.
- Be a primary point of contact for Istanbul based external business clients who spend significant revenue with Soho House & Co.
- Work on-call to help with any sales inquiry across single or multiple sites in the group.
- For top spending clients, ensure a strategy of gifts, complimentary stays, spaces, meals, spa treatments, etc.
- Produce a detailed weekly report that outlines sales meetings.
- Produce a detailed monthly report that outlines all complete sales driven by your outreach & efforts.
- Maintain expert knowledge of all Soho House Group spaces (hotel and events spaces, room types, facilities, group policies, terms and conditions, operational specifics, etc.) to be able to represent the group and cut multi-site deals.
- Manage and update a local calendar detailing all major Istanbul based events – award shows, cultural events etc. and forge relationships with organizers to secure ancillary business. In addition, help drive strategy and outreach to optimize sales revenue from key clients during these events.
- Handle all relevant, centrally coordinated contracts and agreements with Istanbul based companies and clients for facilitating hotel and private hire business.
- Liaise very closely with all other Head of Sales to divert business enquiries swiftly and efficiently. Additionally, coordinate all relevant activity to make sure key clients are looked after.
- Implement, update & manage custom built systems group-wide to encourage consistency, tracking & research.
- Work closely with marketing teams to create necessary tools to accomplish job responsibilities, including input on collateral (hotel and private hire brochures, postcard campaigns, e.tags, House Seven highlights, mailings, etc.)
- Work closely with event team to lead outreach, follow-up and marketing efforts and to encourage collaboration and growth.
