Job Role...
Responsible for ensuring all systems and hardware is maintained as per company standards and policies. To assist and support members, guests and colleagues with IT & AV requirements, and liaising with external vendors/suppliers where necessary.
Main Duties...
- To provide end users with first line support on all software and hardware related issues.
- To provide IT support to members, guests or colleagues when requested.
- To manage and monitor the IT infrastructure and network within the site.
- To manage and maintain user access administration on all systems installed within the hotel.
- To research, test and assist with the roll-out of new software, hardware and services according to company IT standards and policies.
- To document standard operating procedures and best practices.
- To provide first line maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
- To administer and control of the IT inventory.
- To ensure the server room and switch cabinets are kept clean, tidy and secure at all times.
- To ensure the timely installation of the latest security updates and patches
- To ensure operational backups of all systems and maintains a backup and recovery log.
- To assist in the implementation of IT projects.
- To ensure all installations and set ups meet the company’s IT standards and policies.
- To provide out of hours’ support when required.
Experience Required...
- Possess strong technical and trouble-shooting skills
- Fluent in English & Japanese
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- IT qualifications
- Familiar with Opera PMS, Micros / Symphony, Salesforce, Microsoft Office suite / 365
- Knowledge of various AV hardware and software
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand
- Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
