The Role…

We are seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead the Soho Home Studio located at Soho Farmhouse, the countryside members’ club from Soho House & Co.

The General Manager will be responsible for the overall commercial performance and day-to-day management of the Soho Home Studio, ensuring it operates as both a premium retail destination and a hub for interior design services. Working within the unique environment of a members’ club, the role will focus on building strong relationships with members and guests, growing the interior design business, and delivering an exceptional experience.

This role requires a commercially astute and highly autonomous leader who can drive revenue, lead a high-performing team and identify opportunities to grow the Soho Home brand within the Farmhouse & local community.

Commercial Leadership & Business Growth

  • Own the commercial performance of the Soho Home Studio, delivering against sales, profitability and KPI targets.
  • Drive growth of Soho Home’s interior design services by identifying opportunities, supporting the on site interior designer in hosting consultations and converting members and guests into design clients.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with Soho House members, developing a loyal client base and repeat business.
  • Identify high-value opportunities within the Farmhouse membership community and proactively generate new business.

Studio & Retail Management

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the studio, ensuring a premium retail and showroom experience at all times.
  • Recruit, develop and lead a knowledgeable and passionate sales team focused on delivering exceptional service and expert product knowledge.
  • Maintain strong visual merchandising standards in partnership with the visual team, and ensure the studio reflects the Soho Home aesthetic and brand standards.
  • Manage stock levels, product ordering and inventory accuracy in line with business KPIs.

Member Engagement & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Membership, Events and Hospitality teams at Soho Farmhouse to increase awareness of Soho Home and generate new client opportunities.
  • Host in-studio events, styling sessions and design consultations to engage the membership community.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Soho Home within the Farmhouse environment.

Financial & Operational Performance

  • Take ownership of site P&L performance, working closely with finance to deliver revenue and EBITDA targets.
  • Accurately report sales data, insights and opportunities to relevant internal teams.
  • Continuously review studio performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes and customer experience.

 Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience within luxury retail, interiors, or design-led showroom environments.
  • Demonstrable experience working with a multi step sales cycle, ideally within an interiors / furniture business
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving sales growth and achieving financial targets.
  • Experience managing high-value client relationships and delivering consultative sales.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with experience building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with a diverse membership base.
  • Highly proactive and entrepreneurial, with the ability to work autonomously and identify new opportunities.
  • A passion for interiors, design and the Soho Home aesthetic
