The place…   

Located in the Gothic Quarter, opposite Port Vell, the House has a private Club for our Members. The Health Club offers innovative options for taking care of our bodies and minds. We also have 56 rooms, a private cinema room, and our signature Cecconi's restaurant. 

 

The Role… 

We are seeking an experienced Barback to join our team. Your main responsibilities are serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food (when needed) and providing excellent service to members, creating memorable experiences. 

Other duties include mixing cocktails, preparing the bar for service and ensuring it is in pristine condition. 

 

 

Main Duties 

• Createawelcoming environment for members and guests when they approach the bar. 
• Ensuringthebar is fully stocked at all times including; replenishing ice, spirits and mixers, preparing garnishes and restocking glasses. 
• Polishingglasswareand storing glasses safely and in the right place. 
• Cleaningshakers,stirrers, strainers and other bartending tools and ensuring they are in their correct places. 
• Retrieveandreplenish beverages from storage. Restocking wines, mixers, spirits, straws, napkins and garnishes.   
• Collectglasswarefrom the bar area, tables and other sections. 
• Ensurebinsare regularly emptied and ensure cleanliness and hygiene are observed at all times. 
• Performopeningand closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations. 
• Maintainaspotless and pristine working environment both front of house and back of house. 
• Providingmemberswith the bill and processing payment via card or utilising the SHApp and House Pay. 
• Attendingregular briefingswith front and back of house teams to learn about any menu changes and specials alongside daily tastings.   
• Runningdrinksfor the bar to the tables when needed.  
• Resolvemembercomplaints, handling all member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.  
• Takeactionin all matters related to safety, security, satisfaction and wellbeing of employees and members.  
• Assuretheproper handling of VIPs and PWKs, protecting their privacy and confidentiality. 
• Supportingtheteam with any of their needs on an ad-hoc basis.

Physical Requirements:
