The Role
As a Host at Cecconi’s Amsterdam, you are one of the first points of contact for our members, guests, and colleagues, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for warmly greeting guests, managing reservations, and answering incoming calls efficiently and professionally. You’ll create and manage bookings for Cecconi’s, seat guests with care and attention, and support the floor team when needed to ensure smooth service throughout the day.
With your strong organisational skills and natural people focus, you’ll help create a welcoming, positive atmosphere—ensuring guests feel looked after from arrival through to departure.
What we’re looking for
- 1–2 years’ experience in a similar host or reception role
- Experience handling high‑volume phone lines and guest enquiries professionally
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills
- Reliable, well‑presented, positive, and enthusiastic
- Experience with OpenTable and MICROS
- Basic knowledge of InDesign
- Flexible availability for both opening and closing shifts
- Strong communication skills in English and Dutch

- Salary: 2.511,89 € (above Horeca CAO) + 8% holiday allowance (No youth salary if younger than 20 y/o)
- Travel allowance > 7.5km

- In house experience after completion of contract
