Main Duties…

We are seeking Finance Manager to join the Hong Kong team! The role is expected to:

Financial Business Partnering

  • Partner with the Regional Head of Finance to drive financial discipline and business performance.
  • Act as the lead finance partner for Hong Kong, business partnering General Manager, HODs, Membership and People & Development.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Ensure alignment between local business performance and regional finance objectives.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Lead on statutory and internal financial reporting across the region including local tax compliance and audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP requirements, providing high-quality, accurate reporting and reconciliations for P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Lead local budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, including variance analysis
  • Deliver clear financial insights and strategic recommendations to regional and group stakeholders

Tax, Treasury & Compliance

  • Oversee local tax compliance, statutory filings, and audit processes.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and local treasury activities.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with group policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with external advisors and auditors to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Finance Transformation & Systems

  • Support the roll-out and adoption of ERP and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Champion process improvement, automation, and digital finance tools within the market.
  • Ensure local finance processes and systems align with regional/global standards.

Commercial Support & Project Management

  • Support on the evaluation of business cases, commercial deals, and investment opportunities
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights for business leaders, supporting data-driven decisions.
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of regional and cross-market initiatives.

Other job duties assigned by supervisor

*This position is a contract role with the potential for renewal and opportunities for transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Requirements / Qualifications...

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years' in finance & accounting experience (with experience in a similar role preferred)
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
  • Extensive and all-round experience in month-end closing, cash flow & treasury management, payment, internal control & compliance and FP&A
  • Leadership skills to foster an environment of collaboration and to drive changes to enhance efficiency. 
  • Proactive mindset, commercially focused and able to drive departmental initiatives
  • Has strong analytical, problem solving, planning, organizing and influencing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a internal and external stakeholders
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities, and to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote teamwork.
