The Role… 

At Soho House, a Room Service Manager is responsible for leading the full Room Service operation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency and efficiency across all food, beverage and in-room amenity delivery.

You will take ownership of the department, driving service excellence, operational performance and team development. Working closely with the wider operations team, you will ensure a seamless experience for members and guests, with every order delivered promptly, beautifully presented and aligned with Soho House standards.

This is a hands-on, member-facing leadership role requiring strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.

Key Duties...

  • Lead and manage the Room Service operation, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service
  • Take full ownership of service standards, presentation and guest experience within the department
  • Manage, develop and inspire the Room Service team, creating a positive and high-performing culture
  • Oversee scheduling, labour control and resource planning to meet business needs
  • Monitor service times, identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to drive efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with Kitchen, Bar, Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure seamless operations
  • Manage stock control, ordering and cost efficiencies within the department
  • Handle escalated guest feedback, resolving issues with professionalism and care
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Lead training, onboarding and continuous development of team members
  • Support wider operational initiatives and contribute to overall House performance


What we are looking for...

A successful Room Service Manager for Soho House will ideally have 3-5 years’ experience in a busy, high-profile venue, with previous supervisory experience and a natural flair for first-class service. You’ll be confident leading a team, solution-focused and passionate about delivering exceptional member experiences.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a busy hospitality or hotel environment, ideally within room service or F&B
  • Previous Management, Supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships (internal and external)
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Highly organised and reliable
  • Ability to work and maximise relationships within a diverse team
  • Computer literacy within Opera, Micros and Open Table are advantageous

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be over the age of 18 
  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand 
  • Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours 
  • Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
