We are looking for a talented and passionate Group Head of Creative Operations to join our team in London, based in the UK Support Office, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time role reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, operating as a central, shared resource across Content, Design, and Partnerships teams. The Content Editor, Picture Editor, and Sub Editor will report directly into this role.
This position is suited to a highly capable and experienced project management professional with exceptional organisational and communication skills. You will be responsible for overseeing the workflow, planning, and production of all creative output, ensuring alignment across teams and consistency in delivery.
This is a fast-paced, varied, and high-impact role that requires a proactive and solutions-focused individual who thrives in a dynamic environment while remaining calm under pressure. You will bring strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and enforce deadlines, balance structure with flexibility, and ensure workflows are effectively resourced. A key part of the role is managing input from stakeholders at all levels while driving efficiency, clarity, and high standards across all creative workstreams.
Key Responsibilities..
- Oversee creative output and content calendar management, ensuring the smooth running of both teams in collaboration with the Creative Director
- Act as the central point of coordination across teams and key cross-functional stakeholders
- Manage day-to-day workflows, ensuring projects are delivered to brief, on time, and within budget
- Own and manage the departmental budget as primary budget holder, including monthly tracking and reconciliation with Finance, forecasting spend, and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and workflow needs. Lead annual budget planning and submission in line with overall business objectives
- Define and shape project briefs with stakeholders, including objectives, scope, timelines, and budgets
- Maintain the content calendar and Creative Tracker documents to support a strong operating rhythm
- Ensure clear ownership and accountability across all projects, including deliverables, timelines, and directly responsible individuals
- Track progress across all workstreams, proactively identifying risks, resolving blockers, and maintaining momentum
- Lead operational production for key initiatives, including House shoots, new openings, House refreshes, and branding projects
- Support functional teams by reducing operational overhead, enabling them to focus on core creative delivery
- Manage the freelance Picture Editor, alongside permanent team members including the Sub Editor and Content Editor
- Attend weekly meetings with the marketing team to ensure alignment between the content calendar and wider business communications objectives

- Proven experience in Creative Operations
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and delivery
- Proactive, solutions-driven, and results-focused
- Confident and authoritative communicator, with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experienced in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mediating across teams
- Calm, diplomatic, and capable of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong understanding of creative and product development lifecycles, with the ability to anticipate challenges and opportunities
