The Role

We are currently looking for a dynamic Membership Manager to lead our social scene within our houses. You will be a warm and sociable individual who is passionate about hospitality and all that sits under this from food to drink, music, and culture. You will be the key lead in our house to really set the tone regardless if it’s a cold winters school night or a buzzing summers. This is not a traditional customer service role, this is the heart AND soul of every members experience. You will be socially intelligent and know where to curate the evening depending of the feel of the room. This is not only a desk job, this is true human interaction and driving a strong and constant presence in our club.

Key responsibilities:

  • Address membership enquiries quickly and efficiently and arrange follow up meetings when necessary
  • Connect and network with the local creative community to build awareness about the House and support the recruitment of new members
  • Be on the pulse of culture about key moments in the city and curate an innovative, fun and inclusive atmosphere to contribute to our diversity in membership
  • Act as the face of the House to members and be available to respond positively to all inquiries and needs of our guests and ensure timely resolutions to any issues they may have
  • Daily evaluation of membership applications
  • Schedule and host member introductions to House rules and amenities
  • Liaise when necessary to resolve any issues with cards, payments or other membership requests
  • Monitor atmosphere and ambience; ensure that the service and attention our members and guest receive is of top quality throughout their visit
  • Host coffee chats, dinners and events for and with members to ensure consistent connection
  • Partner with all internal stakeholders by communicating and engaging all areas of the operation to support the member experience
  • Collaborate with the head of member and communications to support member retention, reducing attrition and increasing renewal ratios as agreed to budget
  • Gather feedback about the club (levels of service, facilities and member perceptions) as well as participate in delivering solutions that can manage expectations and support a better experience
  • Facilitate access to the club for visiting high profile members and personalities, ensuring they receive good service and enjoy their time as our guests
  • Introduce members to the key people and line staff within the House
  • Maintain regular floor presence engaging with members and building relatable and meaningful relationships

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ relative experience with a proven track record of joining a professional, efficient, high quality, service-oriented operation
  • A long-term city resident with extensive knowledge of the local area
  • Fluent in English is a must, Dutch + any other language is a plus
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings 
  • Passionate about Hospitality Industry (f&b, music, culture)
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills 
  • Highly structured and organized 
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Socially intelligent and strong connecting abilities
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively
