Lobby Ambassador (Temporary) - Soho Beach House Miami

The Role

The Lobby Ambassador serves as a key point of contact for members and guests arriving at Soho Beach House and is responsible for supporting a welcoming, polished and seamless arrival experience.

This role represents the House at the point of entry and helps ensure members and guests feel acknowledged, informed and supported throughout their visit. The Lobby Ambassador is expected to demonstrate strong hospitality, sound judgment, professionalism and awareness of the House environment while responding to member and guest needs.

The position requires a strong understanding of the property, its amenities, programming and services, as well as the ability to connect members and guests with the appropriate teams and resources. The Lobby Ambassador works closely with Front of House, Membership, Reception, Valet and Operations to support a consistent member and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional and consistent arrival experience for members and guests in line with Soho House service standards.
• Serve as an accessible point of contact for member and guest questions, requests and general assistance.
• Maintain current knowledge of the House, including spaces, amenities, food and beverage offerings, events, programming and other relevant activity.
• Provide accurate information and appropriate recommendations regarding the House and surrounding local area.
• Use judgment and awareness to identify member and guest needs and provide proactive support when appropriate.
• Facilitate effective communication between members, guests and relevant House teams to support timely resolution of requests.
• Partner effectively with Front of House, Membership, Reception, Valet, Operations and other departments to support the overall member and guest experience.
• Maintain a professional, composed and approachable presence in a high-volume and dynamic environment.
• Support an organized and well-presented lobby and arrival environment consistent with Soho House standards.
• Handle member, guest and business information with appropriate discretion and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing business needs and operational priorities.
• Perform other reasonable duties aligned with the responsibilities and level of the position as assigned by management.

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, private members’ clubs, retail or another customer-facing environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of members, guests and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to provide professional and attentive service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain composed, organized and responsive while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and appropriately escalate member or guest matters when necessary.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across departments and functions.
• Working knowledge of, or willingness to develop knowledge of, Soho Beach House and the Miami area.
• Professional and approachable demeanor consistent with Soho House standards.
• Demonstrated interest in hospitality and creating positive member and guest experiences.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to move throughout the property, including indoor and outdoor areas, as required to support member and guest needs.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop and perform other routine physical movements associated with the role.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent movement and periods of prolonged standing.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
