The Role
Our aim is to hire passionate and energetic Food & Drinks Runners to join the team at Cecconi's Amsterdam.
We're looking for people who enjoy being at the heart of a busy service operation. At Cecconi's, great hospitality is a team effort. As a Runner, you'll play an essential role in creating a seamless guest experience by connecting the kitchen, bar and restaurant floor, ensuring food and drinks reach guests quickly, accurately and with care.
You'll work alongside passionate hospitality professionals who hold themselves to high standards and are committed to excellence. In this role, you'll support the wait team during high-volume service, help maintain the flow of the restaurant and contribute to the energetic atmosphere Cecconi's is known for.
What You'll Do
- Deliver food and beverages quickly, accurately and professionally
- Support the wait team in providing exceptional guest experiences
- Act as a key link between the kitchen, bar and restaurant floor
- Help maintain a smooth flow of service during busy periods
- Assist with table preparation, resetting and maintaining restaurant standards
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar and floor teams
- Support private events and other operational areas when required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality is beneficial but not essential
- Experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment is a plus
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, professional, positive and enthusiastic
- Ability to remain calm and organised during high-volume service periods
- A genuine passion for people and hospitality
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus

- Compensation: Salary within Horeca CAO Function Group II (€2.468,35 gross per month). No youth salary will be applied.
- Travel allowance > 7.5km (75% of travel costs will be reimbursed)
