Job Description
The Role…
  • Strategic business partner to local leadership in driving our strategies on people, learning and diversity.
  • Partner with the Senior People Director for EU & Asia on process improvements.
  • Communicate and implement policies and programs to guarantee compliance to all employees.
  • Own the employee life cycle includes attracting talents, selection, onboarding, learning & development, rewards & motivation, retention and exit.
  • Curate employee benefit programs and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare staff plan to support business goals, by referencing to the local market trends.
  • Recommend and/or approve all employee movements such as hire, transfer, promotions, etc.
  • Implement, participate, and monitor the onboarding program, Soho Way, to ensure the best employee experience.
  • Lead the implementation of the performance evaluations and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain positive employee relations and to provide a working environment embedding our company values.
  • Monitor and analyse turnover reports and use data metrics to understand trends with hiring.
  • Ensure that all aspects of staffing and employee relations are delivered timely and in compliance with relevant labour and commercial legislation, and House Rules.

What we look for…

  • Progressive Human Resources management experience in a hotel or related industry
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Familiarity with the local employment law and experience with employee investigations
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • A strategic thinker and a self starter
  • Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
